If you are trying to monetiz with adsense then i would suggest you place a image about the same size to the left or right of a adsense text ad. This helps increase clicks

This is against the TOS, but yeah it worked very well.

Forget that! Just do what Nick does on alcoholreport.com Place an adsense IMAGE block next to an adsense text block.

I think you can still get away with it (just) if the image is not remotely related to the ads.

i.e. place an anstract image next to them
