I've created a new network of blogs on blogger (once they pull in some cash I'll get domains, hosting, etc.), but I need some help with monetizing and adsense placement and such. I've started writing some content but I want the blog to be totally ready before I launch.

Here's the first blog in the network:
gamersarcade.blogspot.com

I was just wondering, is the adsense in the top right sidebar corner okay? Is it easy enough to read or should I change the colour of the text or background?

What else should I put in the blog to monetize it? I'm going to put Amazon affiliates at the end of some of my posts, since they'll be related to products a lot of the time. I'm also thinking Chikita and TLA once I get some traffic and inbound links.

And finally, at the bottom I have links to the other blogs in my network. Should I get rid of them, keep them, or change them?

Thanks,
Wyatt

Get traffic before monetizing. There is no way to split/multivariate test ad placement or anything of the sort if you don't have statistically-relevant data to base your tests and conclusions off of.

Thanks for your help, I'm writing content right now and am going to try to do the social network traffic bring in scheme.

But what I'm still wondering is:

Is the adsense easy to read? Are the colours okay and such?

The adsense is fine. Without traffic, it matters not, though, eh?

Write. Write some more. Add content daily. Get lots of traffic. Once you are getting 1,000 unique per day, add the adsense code. The world doesn't need another made for adsense page on the internet without providing unique content and returning/loyal traffic.

Or you could build 100's of thousands of blogger blogs with scripts and post scraped content from other sites that delivers great value to you users. Get some links to each from someplace that you can post like a forum. Then Jam them full of ads. Run those scripts 24/7 with indians solving captcha's for yah and you'd really have something nice
