I am about to go full-steam ahead, like never before, on a single project.

The project's main content is video. A partner and i will be creating a large amount of video at first, and then will allow users to post down the road.

My question is: do any of you top earners have experience with video content and monetization?

I plan to keep this site free and monetize it through adwords, paid accounts, and revver style monetization of each video.

So far from what ive read revver/metacafe payouts arent MASSIVE. But i may be reading outdated information.

Also do any of you more experienced videographers have any good tools/links or blogs you regular read for up-to-date information on this topic?

AuctionAds seems to be doing well for me in that area. You may want to run them on the side and do the keywords based on camera equipment. You can't shoot the videos without the equipment...ya know. It works really well in my niche..which is somewhat similar to yours. Give it a try and let me know your results.

you should also look into CPM monetization but you will need to altreay have decent traffic before you apply. The bigggest thing will be try all means of monetization test and utilize what gives you the most in return.
