I would like to monetize this one:
RANDOMACTOFKINDNESS.INFO

I am a member of affiliate programs, but I am having a hard time deciding whether or not I should create a portal type or a "deal" type site for this one.

portal type meaning, a list of categories, popular categories, top 10 list, etc. the links would send the user off site to affiliate site.

"deal" type meaning, deals are posted or can be purchased and people can sign up to get notified of new deals.

I was thinking along the lines of users being able to send, purchase, or whatever gifts and things to people they know, as a random act of kindness. Does this sound like a decent idea for the domain?

Any help :helpsmilie: or direction would be great. Thanks in advance.

Based on your domain extension, a Portal site is more suitable. On the domain itself, it sounds like of a blog domain, IMO. But it really depends on the resources you would be backing up your site with. You should decide as to what niche you have adequate knowledge and experience.

Thanks for the input. I have created a portal or two. I will look into what sort of resources I can gather up regarding this topic.

I am not sure about a blog, only cause I havent dealt with a blog too much, layout and seo, etc. Maybe I will try to build a site first, then try adding a blog to it.

We'll see. For a portal, do you recommend a site built in HTML or should I just roll PHP with a database?

I know a little PHP, but can kick HTML anyday.
