What do you think are the best ways to monetize on visitors who are mainly 16 years and younger?

Right now I have a forum, mmoccforum.com - making $xxx/monthly with 2100+ members. Many are under 18 years old.

I'm trying to find ways to boost this income. Any ideas welcome.

I sell banners directly. I also sell VIP subscriptions and "Hot" forums (Paid subforums)

Most of the sales come from owners of the games themselves but I'm looking to capitalize on some of the younger audience. Thanks for the suggestion

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that CPA would be a bad idea because minors cant technically complete an action...

I'd suggest CPC, like Adsense or Adbrite (my preference since SmartPricing came into effect), since kids can be clickhappy...

AuctionAds was a great idea, show the kids stuff they think is cool on eBay... however, revenue from that stream has gone from a steady flow to a steady trickle...

So whats your EF friends discount for a banner?

In-line contextual could be good in your forums. Takes up no room and offers a CPC opportunity.

Since they probably don't have credit cards find offers that don't need credit cards...

1. ringtones
2. zip submits
3. email submits

4. gamefly maybe - $19 commission from azoogle and they have a 1 week free I think

I have a forum with a VERY young community as well (think 12 year olds). I've had RI-DI-CU-LOUS success with any sort of "freebies." I was using submits with those massively long page after page surveys and found out that users were filling almost everything out. So what did I do? I gathered every freebie submit under the sun and made my OWN "never ending" page-after-page.

It is truly amazing how many submits these lil dudes fill out. They've even made threads suggesting the fastest way to fill out the submits and have suggested those auto-fill-form bots to eachother to "maximize" their "freebies."

If they only knew what they were doing!!!! Their email inboxes are going to be full with all type of Spam.

You could try using ringtones, screensavers, icons, etc from the cpa affiliate networks. You could also try cpm banner ad providers.

CPA "Freebies" offers are the best step to take. CPA offers have the highest payouts and it seems like youngsters have more patience in filling out the long form for free stuff!
Also, offer trendy product offers. Ringtones, game offers are hot....Best of luck!
