Alright I wanted to make a little post here that is going to answer one of the biggest questions that newbies have when they first start out online.
Most people really want to know of a basic sort of step-by-step guide to how to get started. And here is my two cents on what you should be focusing on when you first start out.
Alright, everyone is always looking for the quick hit first, but I feel that the first thing people should be focusing on is building a list.
If you don't have a list that should be the first thing that you focus on getting. It doesn't take much and once you have one you'll get to keep it forever and actually be able to springboard your way to making lots of money really fast.
With a list you'll have the ability to have 10,000 or more people right at your fingertips that you can drive to any site whenever you need to. Of course keep in mind that you shouldn't take advantage of this. The most important part to having the list is maintaining the relationship you have with them by offering quality and not spamming them.
But, I digress... a list will allow you to get really involed in the most profitable things online. Things like affiliate marketing, product launching, list renting and even CPA networks.
so how does one get a list?
Simple. It takes only a few bucks to get a domain name and to register with a place like aweber as well as to get a giveaway item for your squeeze page.
basically you need to pick a niche to start with either fishing, dogs...etc. hen do a search on google for some PLR or MRR products in that niche that you can purchase for cheap. Once you have one of two items those are your giveaway products that you include in your offer on the squeeze page.
Then you make the squeeze page. Basically a simple page that says you'll give people a free ebook, program or whatever MRR product you just bought in exchange for people's name and emails.
Then you just need to advertise on forums, blogs, youtube etc...
Opt-in will be slow... but after a while you'll have a huge list.
In the mean time while you're building a list get involved in in various paid to programs...
So... that in a nutshell is where you should begin online.
1. Get a list
2. Make a few bucks with paid to programs
3. Once your list is bigger start using it to be an affiliate and offer CPA's to people.
