Are these ad placements efficient?

My website ( http://fdefault.com ) running WordPress, has the Adsense plugin installed, and clickthrough links with Chitika in the header.

Do the ads look OK? Is there a better placement to earn more revenue?

(Sorry if you cannot access the site in IE)

the 728x90 ad is clipped on the right side.

Also, the little ads on the left don't really look right. can you get some bigger (maybe 200x200) ads to fill it out better?

Instead of the bid youtube video bar at the bottom, use a small one at the right side and have a large adsense rectangle on the left side.
Put your logo at the left and have an ad banner at the right side because top right is always visible to visitors.

I did your suggestion about YouTube vids and ads at the bottom, but I don't want the homepage bombarded with ads.

Can you suggest anything else?

The horizontal adsense is good. however, the ads at the bottom probably won't get very high click through rates.

Since you asked about the ads in particular, I'll comment only on them. I believe your ad placement is good, in general, except for the ad link bar directly above the content and below the navigation bar. It seems to be crowding the content below a little bit.

They're fairly far down. If you place them above the fold you're bound to get more clicks.

Well I am using wordpress with an adsense plugin, and it doesn't show (regular) ads on the homepage for some reason.

The Ads at the bottom are not much use!

I would suggest changing the color of the link unit to the blue.

Also add a 468x60 in between the top two posts:

Just did everything you suggested, except the 468x60 banner is placed differently.

Can I have your opinions now?

To earn more revenue, make your site work with IE, if your site dont work with IE then i would personally say your most likely only earning half of what you could.

I've tested this for a while, over a month actually.

My earnings were about 30% less with it allowed.

The ads under the menu are overcrowded. They don't get much attention.

It is worth mention that your site doesn't look "right" in all browsers. In the version of IE I'm on, the content is way too low.

I just recently unblocked IE from accessing my site.

It was way worse than what it is now. I fixed most of it for it to work with all browsers.

You did great here. Ads simply blend into the content you posted. Sometimes, there are sites that don't work with FF too. But i guess it was better off to put IE back on again.

But i have something to ask, i suggest filling up empty space on the upper left side of your site. I think your banner is Huge and doesn't maximize the space on the left. anyway, good job. keep it up!
