How accurate is this website? It says my website is worth $7000, and I was just curious to know if this is really even somewhat true. I'm not considering selling it, but if it is somewhat right I would definitely start investing much more money into it.

No, sites like that are not accurate at all.

A much, much better way to valuate a site is to take a multiple of revenue, like 10x monthly revenue or more if it's a more established site.

well, mine isn't really an established site, only 2 months old, simply multiplying doesn't really work the greatest. I didn't know if this site took into account how quickly it was growing and used that in its formula.

How could it know what the growing rate is?
Only you can determinate it.

No, like Nyef told before, no sites claiming how much your site is worth are to be taken seriously.
In the end, your site is worth what someone else is ready to give you for it, and nothing more.

Alright thanks. And not that it matters, but it could easily track growth. All it would have to do is compare the data over different amounts of time and see the rate of growth.

And how would the site know how much revenue you're earning. Sites like Website Outlook are making educated guesses based on what data they can collect, but a person who's looking to buy is going to want to know information that only you could provide.

Like Thierry said your site is ultimately worth what someone will pay for it. People might buy based on past revenue and they may buy based on what they think they can get in future revenue. If two people both want to buy a site you can probably get more as they'll bid against each other.

It's a intuition call, there is no way of knowing without having access to the real site datas.

i am guessing that website ownership treated like transferring business ownership.
In other words the seller is obligated to show his accounting books tax tracks.
lawyers are involved to ensure that the deal in compliance with the state's laws and regulations? is that correct?

sometimes I go on it to check but only use to tell myself that you need to get more traffic!! because I know my webstie worth more than they listed. so I think is a tool that you can go once a while and say haha I increase my daily revenue but don't use it as a real tool is a joke!
