I'd like to sell an Ebook from my website with Paypal, what is the best way to do this that the coustomer is automatically directed to a download section after payment please?

One way is using PayPal IPN. Just go to Paypal to read about this or Google for it.

Another option is what I use.
I purchased a script called DLGuard. It does two things.
It communicates with PayPal and prepares your book for download.
It protects your book from theft. You can place it outside your website and DLGuard will prepare a link for your customer.

Give them a custom one time id that they enter into a field (POST Method, not GET) and that will redirect them to a specially copied file that will delete its self after the download is finished.

What about making money somehow from selling other peoples ebooks that are related to your own sites content?

There's actually a few scripts out there which put together a site like this for you fast. I've seen a bunch of different ones, all basically the same thing - you just have to plug the content in
