My experience with Adbrite is also not good! I had hardly any conversions when I did PPC with them in the past. My ROI was just terrible! Don't know any other place regarding your content. Did you check a forum like GFY.com?

You know, my one and only experience with AdBrite is putting a banner on my site and not getting any matching ads for something like...three months, like? I suppose that they still paid for clickthroughs, but I hate having a "You Ad Here" spot on my page for so long, honestly.

As for how long it takes them to pay; couldn't tell you as I didn't attempt to collect.

I use both adbrite and adsense and see that adsense pays more.

Yes I had to harrass adbrite a few times by email before they paid me. I am not really happy with the revenu generated from my ads with them. Google adsense is way better.

Adbrite is not horrible. You can't judge something by using it a mere week or two. You have to be in the system long enough for good sites to be able to target you. I have been using Adbrite for two years and have gotten a check every month.

First of all the "two months to get paid" is true only at first, once you start getting checks you get one every month as long as you make more than $100 (same as adsense). Secondly - unlike adsense in AdBrite you can actually set your own prices. You can allow people to pay a flat rate for an ad to run for a day, a week, or a month as well. I once charged $100 for 30 day ads and had a few people signup for it every month.

I do think you need 1,000 pageviews a day or more to use it, but it does work. It also has options for full page ads and contextual ads in addition to the adsense type blocks.
