Okay me hearties, I am about to lay down 99% of my tools and dive into some serious serious work and I was going to do so quietly and without making a big noise about it, but you're all a bunch of geysers, more or less, so here it is - the secret of success.
Right now I'm logging into the affiliate networks and gathering all the links I want to put on my site and have been putting off due to a fear of administrative work. The details aren't important (since the work that you have to do for success varies according to what business you do precisely). What is important is this - the work I shall now throw myself into, during my short, few-days break from such menial tasks as saving the world, building tardis engines and coming up with a new business (I have a good idea for that one, though - I think I am going to sell ties - neckties. Yep - mailorder ties. I think it'll work. Plus my partner is a master of tie selection, so it could go very well indeed... however I have no clothes wholesale connections so I shall have to go ahuntin), the work I shall now throw myself into, to conclude, is RAISING THE INFORMATION QUALITY OF MY SITE.
In my case this means gathering another 1000 affiliate traders, cleaning up their links, ascribing them all manner of keywords within my own system and getting their data published on my mother of all sites.
After that I'll go fishing for about 10,000 nonaffiliate traders because I like to mix my drink like that - 1 part affiliate, 9 parts free data.
Anyway, this is about the ONLY work I have which will keep me off the forums for a bit - because it's the only work that doesn't require anything but total mindless subservience to data admin.
The secret is all there - in order to do well, you HAVE TO produce things of good quality. Failure to do that is failure to understand the longterm principles of good business. It is precisely the same as the difference between a day-trader on the stockmarket and a longterm share investor.
A bientot, mes amis. Mais ou sont les voyageurs? Ou sont les bagages? Voici Roger Duroc. Voici Francoise Duroc. Voice Toto. Toto est un chien.
