I have tried several services such as textlinkads.com, but nothing has worked. On TLA I feel they have my ads priced to high ($15 a month), and on places where I set my own price, I can't seem to even get noticed. I've set my prices at $.25 cents a week, just hoping to get some interest and then I will move it up from there, but still no one will buy. Anyone have any advice?

My blog/forum is http://nkingdom.com if it matters. PR2 and Alexa rank of 416k. Not great traffic stats, but enough I should be able to get something.

And these are placed in the footer or the right nav?

It can be a tough market to crack.

Yeah, they will be on the right side under the "Links" section, which is on the first page down. So not extremely high up but in a pretty reasonable position.

I just took a second peek at your site. It looks fairly new. I suspect that after you have been up and running for 6 months or so you won't have any trouble selling them.

Pr means little to me and other experienced people. Traffic is what they want to see. PR does not hurt but traffic is what produces real clicks.

The domain is somewhat new (4 months maybe?), but we have been up and running for just over 1 year now.

Try Adhocads. Its new but might work. I have just started with this and have not yet got any results. What are other ways to sell link ads apart from TLA ??

TNX.net

Sape.ru is Russia's biggest link marketplace. A new website with 100 pages and PR 0 will get you at least 10 cents a day on Sape.ru. The main disadvantage - it's in Russian.

I didnt realise there was places to advertise text links for rent so to speak. I currently have a site and one of the advertising opportunities available is at $10 per week. Is this considered too much? My site gets over 40,000 hits per week and is currently ranked at 286k.

Also what is the URL for TLA? As searching google for TLA brings up random stuff.. Cheers

Yeh its a S60 mobile phone site thats growing at a rapid rate, set up at start of this month with already having just under 20k members, traffic is good, just finding places to sell links, banners etc

Gone up to 252k in alexa now as well
