A good list of the basics. Some people blog and make websites for fun and to be heard while others do it primarily for money...there's a lot of potential for anyone with a successful website to monetize it.

Thanks very much for the article. I do all of them the only place I am lacking is backlinks but I am not sure why as I do comment on other people's blogs alot but nothing is happening.
