Pretty low pay, but anyways, I saw a guy claiming that he has
this great money making method that works every single time,
all you have to do is download it from his site, FREE.

But what was actually happening is that he is getting paid $1/k
visitors to his site by a new URL shortening service
ending with the .ly extension. (adf)

I have read that some people really have huge amounts of traffic,
but can not monetize it. I don't know how they do it though. The
guys in my place get small steady traffic that converts, I always
thought that was the best way to go.

$1 for 1,000 visitors? jees some domains I run it would take them 3 months to earn a dollar, pretty sure I won't be able to interest them in this great deal

There are so many sites out there that does this and you need to be careful because some will not pay you on time or will not pay you at all. So you need to do some research on the site you are working for 1st.

The thing that surprises me is that some sites claim they get loads of traffic but don't know how to monetize it. Surely if you know how to market your site to get the traffic, then you know how to make money out of the traffic on your site.
