Hi, I have a blog that is starting to get a pretty good amount of traffic per day. However, it is a picture heavy site that caters to very tech savy users. Also, it's hosted by Tumblr.

Is there anyway I can make money with this site, or is this just not a site that I can monetize? I've tried putting PPC ads, but after 2000 views, I still haven't gotten any clicks, so I don't think that is going to work.

"tech savvy" users are highly unlikely to be clicking ads.

why dont you try taggify.net, if your site is picture heavy, this way you can use the automatic ads on images or tag yout photos and earn by cpc.

That's one of my biggest problems. Most tech savvy users know of things like firefox and ad blocker. Some days my page views are three times as many as what adsense is showing just because of this.

there are networks that pay per view of the images which are hosted by them so maybe you can try it. try shareapic.com

I'd look for companies that offer products likely to appeal to, well, people like me, and that run affiliate programs. One obvious one is http://www.firebox.com/index.html?di...tion=affiliate . Less effort, run Amazon ads targeted at specific resources eg a programming manual or whatever. A bit more work but you can always drop it if it's not producing.

You may use adsense in your site.You have told that you dont get click on your ads.What I think you can use the adsense image ad that will help you to get lots of clicks as your site is also full with image.

You could always use it as a funnel to a site that will make you money. I would still try and monetize it if you could, but funneling the traffic will help you narrow down users who might actually want what you could get paid for.
