yes whym i no you are right 1 hour is a long time but try to surf for sites that are same as yours and send them a email the time soon mounts up, and yes if they do give you a link one in exchange is normal.
good directorys ((yes they cost)) but these directorys will not clased as spam as the old ffa sites where as most directorys will be clased as spam soon so i have read on ((google info))

Yes i belive if the site is same content or near abouts google love this as there main goal is for the end user to find all related sites for the key word or sentance easy to find so in my belive if i search for foot and mouth and on a site i find some info but the site has links to other sites with more or dif content then i am happy

same think in my eyes if you can excite a visitor with great content then that person will tell some one so means the same.
