You don't get it, do you?
You did exactly what most people told you to do, which is exactly why most people struggle to find traffic..."post on forums", "post on blogs", "submit to social bookmarking sites", "digg exchange", "link exchange", (insert bad piece of advice here.)
Do you know what that gets you in the end? Nothing, unless you have a site that can back it up...and yours doesn't. The copy sounds like "I Tarzan, You Jane", you're keyword stuffing at the top of the home page, and my personal favorite comes at the bottom of the home page:

Your site has a tabular layout!
You want to know why you're struggling? Do you want to know why you're asking these questions? Do you want to know why you don't have the traffic that you want?
Because you haven't got a clue what you're doing, that's why.
It all starts from a quality site. All the SEO "work" in the world won't cover up a site with holes in it, and your site has some big holes. Of course, as an "SEO Web Designer", you already knew that, right?
Learn how to build websites. Learn how to write copy that actually makes sense and appeals to people. Build something useful and constructive. Then worry about SEO.

This guy just doesn't get it does he?
Do any of you guys remember that article on Webmaster world about 5 years ago called "A page a day for 15,000 /page views" This is a link to a copy of it
http://www.flamintiki.com/mtype/archives/2005/01/26_steps_to_150.php
(but reading it again, ignore the bit about domain names.. hehe )
If you were a Bristlecone Pine, you'd think that 365 days was pretty fast... ;-)

SEOWebDesigner, you're name suggests you know at least something about SEO.
From your posts, I can't see any evidence of this at all. You ask extremely basic questions about how to get any traffic and then you don't even listen to our advice when we give it!
By the way zonker720, your link has http://www. or something in front of it so doesn't work properly - I've seen the page though by removing the extra www. bit - thanks for the link anyways.

Oh by the way, your keyword stuffing/URL things in your signature don't make me want to trust you at all - I hate it when people put the same URL lots of times in their sig. hoping it'll boost their ranking further by doing so

I'll give you one point, because there's only one point that really matters here.
Take your entire site. Take everything you're doing. Take the keyword stuffing, take the link exchanges, take the stumble exchanges, take all of that stuff.
Take it all...and do the exact opposite of what you're doing now. Full 180. Everything. Top to bottom. Opposite. No sameness. All opposite.
Everything you know is wrong, black is white, up is down, and short is long.

The link is fixed in my post. Good God almighty, zonker. That's just brilliant.
"You want google.com, not mykeyword.com". I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe some small operation out of California owns that domain name. But maybe, if you asked them really nicely, they'd sell their domain name at cost. It probably isn't worth much. $10, $15 tops.

Dear Whym and Adam,
Let me tell you, i learn from browsing on internet about SEO by tutorials. So whatever i know i do in my projects...now as you are saying about know the SEO. I know what i learned....and no one guide me the proper way how to do seo and the ethical method......so basically I learning in that way, Coz we can't say its over and finish SEO. Daily search engines have their own strategies, algorithms n so on. I hope you guys now know it. Thanks adam to tell me your opinion. I am more working my website. I will keep your opinion in my mind while working.
regards,

If you read blogs/posts, listened and used a little common sense, you'd realise there is no quick way to get traffic. However, your post #30 asking how to "get traffic rapidly" reminds me of what an 8 year old who's set up his first site would say!
There are very few "quick" ways to get a steady flow of online traffic (notable exceptions being fad sites like milliondollarhomepage.com) and maintaining traffic can only really be achieved by steady, hard work writing plenty of good content which is updated regularly.

That was your first mistake. Like most tutorials on the Internet, there may be a small nugget of truth or something useful in an SEO tutorial; however, there usually isn't, and on the rare occasions there is something useful, it's buried under 1000 useless items and you have to find it.

And apparently you still haven't learned "the ethical method". "The ethical method" involves something that you haven't figured out yet: a solid foundation, a maximized user experience, and a site that doesn't worry about SEO to the extent that it potentially alienates others who may send the very same organic traffic to it that SEO is supposed to produce in the first place.

Know it, have been aware of it for 10 years, stopped caring about it for about 4. It took me six years to figure out that search engines are free sources of traffic, and as such should not be solely relied upon. They have every right to do what they want to their engines, and they can change their algorithms daily for all I give a ****.
But let's use the algorithm thing to illustrate a point. Let's say Google decides to do a major algorithm shakeup and you lose all of your Google traffic. Whatever you did, you pissed Google off to the point where it no longer ranks your site for anything at all that sends user traffic. All gone. Bye bye. No more G traffic.
Are you prepared to absorb that traffic loss? Do you rely so much on your big G traffic that an event like this would be catastrophic to your business? And how do you ensure that this doesn't occur? It's a free service; they don't owe webmasters a **** thing.
The only thing you can do is to build a site that attracts as many different types of traffic from as many different sources as possible, including the search engines. A real SEO understands and can pull this off. SEO isn't a standalone module, and it is only part of the marketing plan for a well-built site. Most importantly, as Daniel said, it's not an overnight get-rich-quick sit-in-your-underwear-and-earn-$1,000,000-online-by-the-time-your-cojones-start-poking-through-the-side sort of thing.
