Ok, for all you SEO Consultants out there that have sold a Domain + Website based on traffic & SERP's stats, maybe you can help me evaluate what my site would be worth if I decided to sell it with everything included.

Not that it matters much, however the site is a PR-3 in all Googles Datacenters World Wide. (E.G. - .Us, .Fr, .Jp, .Au, .Ru, Etc.....)

Main site is a Customized Joomla CMS backbone.

with the SERP's in consideration, what would be your honest opinion of this sites worth?

If you have sold a few domain + websites pre-Optimized it would be helpful in providing a more accurate appraisal.

Dude, your whole selling logic is flawed for the following reasons:

1) You can't sell based on SERP ranking, because it varies depending on datacenter and personalization. Not only that, the phrases you're mentioning may or may not generate traffic for you.

2) The traffic numbers are mentioned, but it doesn't mention the revenue/profit figures. Buying a site is the same as buying a business; you want to know the revenue/profit figures.

3) There are issues with the site that need to be fixed, which would cut into the value of the site to the savvy buyer.

4) The problem, when most people offer websites for sale, is that they're not doing what the owners expected the sites to do. The reason usually isn't good.

Having said all of that, I probably would make a low 4-digit offer (not knowing the profit) if I were interested.

I was approached by a small Corporation with a proposal to fill their Marketing Directors position, If I take it then I wouldn't have the time to maintain & continue building my own business.

It's the Full benefits package I am looking at the hardest. It's great owning your own business, however, Health / Dental / Vision & 401K sounds nice too.

You are right, my site is only 10 months old & has a long way to go, its just the basics I have instilled in it at the moment.

Might make a fun little project for someone with more time on their hands. (If I decide to let it go & move on).

More of a hobby type income at the moment, There is allot of potential in it though. The sales are based on both SERP's generated leads as well as combined direct marketing efforts & memberships to outsourcing organizations.

Where does that income come from? AdSense, or the dev and design work you do?

Do they have the terms of the benefits? Copay, yearly max, stuff like that? Most dental plans are crap, but vision benefits are hard to come by these days. Which is a good indicator overall. None of this answers your question, but I have no idea what the right answer is.

Thanks for the insight..... The income is mainly from contracted Dev/Design work along with a few digital Sales from the Templates / Themes section. There are a few repeat clients as well with odds & ends here & there.

And yes, I have to agree that a good Dental plan is a bit harder to come by. 80% coverage with a 10% deductible isn't too bad in my book.

How long does any job/gig take to complete? How many do you do in any given time period? Anything else you can share? I know two people who might have some interest ... probably not very likely at this point in time, but I'll email them with your site and the info you posted about it.

Well Forrest, that varies, every project is unique in my industry. I have some that only take 10 minutes & others that take 30+ hours as far as my hands on services.

There are also the push button software services & the self sustaining digital downloads.

an Average would be 1 project per day in a 30 day time span. So last month at: $2,454.00 Divided by 30 = $81.80 per day average for that month.

(These results are taking into account "ACTIVE" campaigning & utilization of outsourcing organizations.) If one should make a purchase & just sit on it without actively campaigning, the results would of course Drop. This business is only 10 months old & still in its building phases, automated no touch - is not a factor yet.

Overall Project time Average from last month was 5.3 Hrs per day (Based on a 5 day work week)
