Are you asking us to help you SEO the link in your post or are you asking how to become a SEO expert? BTW, it's hard to SEO a template full of JS.

By the way, shouldn't you know SEO if you're going to advertise SEO services on your marketing site? Just a thought.

First step is to post new topics in forum which match your company or keywords and to put a link of your site.

If its your first time in SEO.. Its better to be familiarized first with SEO terms since that some of SEO terms are never been heard.

How could they know this without being familiarized first with SEO terms..
They should know first the basic then applying it like in what your suggesting..

Yes, you are right. But what i meant is that big mistake could be if you from the start try to use every SEO technique you find for your site. It could take you too much time without any results.

So after you udnerstand the basic techniques you should decide what path is the best for your goal

Daniel don't assume the industry is like that as a whole. There are many people who like to think they are SEOs, but really aren't in the industry.

It's like if someone set up a cardboard box in their basement and called it a server and started selling hosting. It would say a lot about that person, but not necessarily about all web hosts.

I consider myself part of the seo industry, but I think you'd agree that myself and the OP aren't exactly working at the same thing.

OK so I'll admit that was a generalization. Still, the SEO industry, or at least part of it, does any me a lot sometimes. Some SEOs still believe PageRank is worth the space it has in the Google toolbar, while others are obsessed with link exchanges and the 10,000 way exchange (joke).

I believe many people can do just a bit of research and have enough knowledge to optimize their site, at least partially.

On-page Optimization:
First of all review the site:check the keyword density,proximity,keyword prominence,hyperlinks,keyword rich in anchor text,keyword rich in header tags,alt property.

Then off page optimization:
Directory submission
article marketing
forums discussion
blogs commenting
classified sites
press release

First step when you are looking for SEO "master".
Simply ask him for his previous work..if he has any

and what he achieved in SEO field. As simple as that

Oh, really? And what would happen in that scenario?

"What have you done in SEO?"

This would do nothing other than to perpetuate ignorance.

Something smells very, very fishy with this post too. Looking at the Brisbane Technologies website reveals that they have their hands in a lot of things that don't really seem to have a common theme, and some of those seem to overlap the Ability Marketing site in the OP's sig as well. In particular, Brisbane Technologies offers web design services, as does Ability Marketing.

Not only that, Ability Marketing "happens" to be based out of Brisbane, Australia.

I smell link drop.
