Hey guys,
i normally am not interested in buying traffic as such, but i came across this website today, and reading the how it works section, it does kind of make sense but what i want to know is, does this look legitimate, has anybody tried it, and is it worth the money they are asking?
the link is here: http://www.pagerank10.co.uk/targeted...te_traffic.php

I'm pretty sure if you will look at the names of the forums, that you will find you posted in the wrong one.

Understood, and I've posted stuff in the general forum that belonged in the blogging forum myself. We all make mistakes every now and then - no ill will.
But which forum do you think is the right one for this thread? I'm not a moderator of this particular forum, but the people who are would be all too happy to help move this to the internet marketing, ecommerce, or if you have another suggestion where this would fit?

You are in the right place Andy. I wouldn't bother with the scheme you referred to. Just because an 'abandoned' domain gets traffic, it doesn't mean that those visitors will be satisfied when they are redirected to your web site - even if your site is similar to the original.
Just out of interest, why are you thinking of buying traffic? Are you not getting any at the moment?

Hey mate,

BUYING TRAFFIC CAN BE OK
But be very very carefull as some of these sites buy bulk load and sell on and they are from pop up or just false trafic done by scripts if you want get you a price for bulk traffic at whole sale price as i am still a member as i use to sell traffic along time ago i all so would ask you to look at expired traffic as this can be 100% real traffic and tarketed to your given keywords.
As i use to say
who in the gold rush made the money the gold diggers or the shop keepers ??
think the gold diggers as webmasters((people that own web sites))
and the shop keepers as ((traffic sellers))
Hope you get my point 90% of traffic sellers are there to rip you of same as your see thinks like alaxe rank boast now i can say i use to sell this for 10000 hits for 25 bucks and i made a lot of cash it was jsut a script that sent dif ip to a web site thew a alaxa tool bar it worked and i got some of my punters web sites up to 50000. But all that does is eat up your band width and cot you lot of cash the main reason poeple want this done was on new sites to make them look a bit better then say rank 9000000 as rank 400000 looks better.
I hope this has put you of from buying traffic
I would say this place is good for free traffic or you can buy credits that makes over people surf your site.
here is the link
And yes it my url shorting site i am showing of and it is my id link
< see the forum rules on affiliate links >
And yes i am showing of my urlshorting site
Oh no cant get to it now pm me and ill send to you

there's nothing wrong on buying traffic. if you are a big spender, why not. just be sure to know if it really works, ok? Do anything that will improve your site as long as it is legitimate. I know you know the limitations.

Actually, what really matters is how those targeted traffic is redirected to your site. So long as the provider of this traffic does it thru legal means (PPC, banners, targeted back links, etc.), I really see no problem at all at buying traffic.
I would prefer getting 100 targeted visitors than a thousand that is random.

I actually sell traffic, and 99% of my customers are repeat buyers because it is specifically targeted to the customers needs. I would have given it up a long time ago if it was a get rich quick scheme, but customers keep coming back for more, so apparently the targeting works.

For me, untargeted traffic actually worked. It all depends on the site, I guess, but I might stick with your Adwords campaign for truly targeted traffic that converts.

i bet they are as so was mine in the day of my traffic site we use to do the lot real traffic keyword related alaxa rank boast ((mostly for new sites))
search engine submisions mata tag check and re do to help in sep_search engine placement or the(( google seo dance)) we where so biz we had 5 staff at one point and did make lot of cash and the profit was 45% of the takeings so was good WHY I SELL well as i may have said before trusting some people and honesty means a lot to me and i may be to trusting so i got riped of so that why i had to sell as got fead up .
tips from me
real keyword related traffic
find expired domains that fit your web site find ones with traffic buy up a few and redirect to your site try to watch the traffic and if it get to slow from one expired name sell it while it still has some traffic. There lots for sale out there as i was just bidding on one that had 10000 unique a month but went for more then i was willing to payfor.
next tip
find sites that are related to you ask to be parnters and swap links
(( yes this can be bad or good)) yes it may be your comption but look at it this way.
the surfers want the choice to shop around and some may not like the site they are on but want some think that they sell so where to go are your link and the other way around so ever one happy. works well as i did this on 5 traffic sites and we all where happy with what the surfers where doing as if you use the right tracker you can tell where the surfers come from and what page they leave from.
Well i hope you get all the traffic you are after just watch that bandwidth
as i rember sell 1 mil to this company yes 1 mill but after 200000 his site was shut down as he had gone over his bandwidth.
i am makeing a new site mostly for fun but with some good info well soon as it only gone live in the last week
www.google-seo-dance.com
OH TO THE ADMINS SOZ FOR THE LINKS DID NOT NO
