Alright, I have a much more clean page, all validated. Also, it seems as though my current layout will work well with se's, and my boss likes it so its static as of now. I am running a campaign with Adwords, using keywords derived from a local, very popular community. Now its time for me to take the next step. Of course we are doing local ads, PPC, and link exchanges with relevant companies/sites.
So whats next? I am thinking another campaign with keywords based a little more for international exposure. Using Analytics I've noticed alot of my current traffic is from North America, with one or two spread between the rest of the world. I am using a conversion goal page, but not really getting any landing going on.
Also, I am getting about 100-150 visits, 90% is google(cpc), with a 57% bounce rating. Any suggestions? Thanks guys in advance!

What percentage are the link exchanges giving you can I just ask? 1% or something feeble? Google's stance on link exchanges has been changing for a while now and they've been badly overused and abused. For this reason, Google is devaluing the worth that is gained from doing link exchanges as it doesn't see them as much of a recommendation of a web site these days - it may eventually start "punishing" sites that do link exchanges to manipulate SEs.
For this reason, I'd get rid of them - that's my advice. They add nothing to your site's content/value, they don't bring in much traffic and SEs are devaluing them too. Unless they are completely relevant, then they tend to make the site look crummy.

Yes, Daniel, that's definitelly make a sense what you say.
But what would you suggest to use instead of link exchange? Any other alternative Google recommend to apply instead?
Have a great day,
Peter

Well, if your site provides something to visitors that others don't, and your site is useful to them, then you should start getting people recommending you on their blogs or their own sites. That's how you get good links - by providing unique content that no other web site has.

I wouldn't disagree with you. It seams to me what you say is a theory. But in a real life most of the webmasters try to provide unique content on their sites, and how you can destinguish which site is better or worse on the same subject? (I'm not talking about the sites that provide real crap). If you take any web subject, then you will see most of the sites look more or less similar in terms of uniqueness of content. What is the real criteria of uniqueness?
Have a great day,
Peter

I don't think it's true at all that most sites look the same or carry similar material. Plenty do, but there are a lot of truly unique sites, and most of them are popular at least at the cult level. It usually comes out of a passion somebody has for a subject that turns out to be popular.

Being as it is a Real Estate site, I'm wrestling with ideas on a blog, and exposure. I took the links off, it does seem to be a bit crummy looking. What else do you guys recommend for a site of this topic?

I don't know much about 'real estate' thing, but my idea about some topic on this would be like, feature some promos like discounts, how about the benefits they will be getting around the area, the transportation, its security, the convenience.

Maybe if you looked at it from the standpoint of issues that affect both the purchase of gated community property (if there are any specific issues...I suspect there are, even though I know very little about the topic) and gated community lifestyle (what to expect, how to interact with your neighbours, any social stuff that goes on, etc.)
Maybe you could also use the blog as a newspaper of sorts for the residents. Talk about how Mabel's new hip is the cat's pajamas or something.
