I think the main areas is the head or the bottom.
If the center have important context,may it's the main area,
so the main area is not sure,it just connected with the main context which search think important.

Somebody say:don't have to worry too much about page optimisation.
But like webmaster-talk.com,if webmaster-talk.com don't have well seo tech,it wouldn't be a weelknow website.

I will try to respond on what i have understood:

I don't think that there is an important areas on your pages. The whole page is important, the way she is, the way text is dispalyed, the way pictures are displayed, etc. But one area more important than another, i don't think so.

it still would be popular because of domain itself

I don't agree!. Having a nice domain name is a really good aspect, but if you have poor content you can forget about having serious visits and high ranking.

Content have nothing to do with ranking.

Here is an example.
Google for: free listing
Open #1 site and then check the source. No html, no meta tages and only 20 words text.

Content give you better rankning. How? If a visitor like your website, because he is not empty and because what you have said was good ans pertinent, he will make your website known.

By the way, i have did what you told me and the #1 have a meta and html.

If webmaster-talk didn't have great webmasters, he wouldn't be this much known.

Google U.S. dosn't have Amray anywhere on the first page for the term "Free Listing" it's actually #11, the first listing on page #2... http://www.google.com/search?q=free+...B_enUS230US230 (Or you may be dropping fast due to constant competition)

After clicking your link in your sig directly & checking (View Source) in both FF & IE I found that the site IS not only in HTML, it's all Html Table based (No CSS at all)... (Even .Php uses standard html for content areas)

You also have 11 meta tags....

I'm not sure why you thought you didn't have html or meta tags, I can see them clear as day.

Content & Inbound links are essential to any website. The text links & directory ads are normally counted as the content in a web directory, So you do have lot's of content for your particular type of business.
