We are currently working on several aspects of our site, on page optimization, backlinks, new areas of our tax help section, creating a forum, while also trying to test our software. We were just wondering if our page is over-optimized, under-optimized, or we have just gone way out into left field with this. I don't know if I can post my url in here so don't banish me. onlinetax.net

I think the site is great. Good color combos, well laid out.

We have disabled the internal tax software until we get all the bugs out for next year. But once we have been accepted by the IRS, would you be willing to give us a dry run and tell us what you think?

By the very definition there cannot be anything that is "under" optimised or "over" optimised

Optimised means "being the best it can"

Nothing can be more that the best it can and anything that is less than it's best is not "optimised"

Is it really necessary to get all grammatical on his ***?
You understood his question, didn't you Chris? Then there is no need to polish his grammar, as the question was communicated efficiently.
To answer your question JC; for me it is neither over-optimized nor under-optimized, as you put it.
I see a professional and trustworthy site.

Not a matter of grammar at all, merely a matter of logic.

Or if you prefer it

"over" optimised = Keyword stuffed

"under" optimised = Not optimised at all.

Hey Chris we can add "very unique" to the list...it's unique or it isn't. I also like 'hemorrhaging blood'...

I guess some people just don't appreciate constructive criticism...
