My site on whois.sc gets an seo score of 99% they say they follow Mattcutts.com approch

Well I wouldn't take this SEO score as gospel. If you are ranking well for your keywords, then it would prove that you are getting things right and this SEO calculation is accurate.

I notced that this now redirects to domaintools.com. This whois return more than just whois, this could be useful tool. My SEO score was only 92%, although what hasn't been defined was exactly how they came to the figure.

Any "tool" that does "SEO scoring" is best treated as "For amusement only"

Hirst is right. There is no mattcutts.com approach, and if there was, Matt's probably the last person in the world to know about it.

SEO scoring tools and public metrics are useless. Utterly, completely, useless. The only place you can get real SEO metric information is from your stats, which tell you where you're getting search engine referral traffic from and for what phrases (if any).
