Google Analytics. I haven't used extreme tracking, so I really can't compare them for you.

Yeah google analytics is awesome. but i would also use something else along side it if you want accuracy because analytics relies on your users having JS enabled. Ultimately server stats and analytics should be enough.

I made a blog post ages ago listing some of the more poular website stats providers.
