For unique traffic, try to get links from relevant sites. It may either be one way or reciprocal links. The more the links the better the traffic.

Having a unique content that most reader wants to read(like everybody said to me)...that they will somehow return to your site for more of that content. And sometimes if they like it soooooo much they will even promote your site or the content for your own benefit!!!.....

Well.........for unique traffic first you need some useful content with uniqueness, i mean to say something different from others and intersting too and then submitting it to social bookmarking sites and participating in social networking sites and starting a business blog to promote your site will be also good.
