I mean www.photo.wish71.net (example) how can be useful in order to optimize wish71.net ???

A subdomain is a completely different site. If you're having trouble optimizing one site, optimizing two will be even harder.

Just wondering ... I have changed my hosting provider and they allow practically unlimited sub domains so I was wondering what use of that can I do to promote my website.
I mean the website is only one.

Google has changed it's stance on subdomains. It will no longer show results from a domain and subdomains for the same search term, unless it's a domain like blogger.com or wordpress.com. So there's little to gain out of subdomains.

You mean that, but it's not how your action will be interpreted.

Maybe I was not clear....

My idea was to use the sub domains in order to insert in the domains my key words
I mean my website url regretfully has not the keywords that I like ... so maybe someting like ..... keyword.domain.net ..... example if I need photo as keyword.... this kind of subdomain like this will nelp ???? photo.wish71.net

I have not thought to insert link from sub domain to my main domain in order to increase ingoing number of links .... I think will not work at all, will be considered internal link.

Nope it's very clear what your intentions are

Which bit of "No you can't" is that you don't get?

Building a spammy network of interlinked sites doesn't work any more, it's not 1999 and we ain't in Kansas anymore.

I said chrishirst I do NOT want create any LINK FROM SUB DOMAIN TO MY DOMAIN

By the way, do not trouble, I founded already somewhere else a complete and exhaustive article explaining the issue.

So how exactly were you thinking that subdomains would make any difference to the hostname.

www . whatever is ALREADY a subdomain

If you can't optimise & promote one site, optimising & promoting several is even more work.

sub-domains should be used for BUSINESS reasons NOT for some vague imagined theory that it would "help" with SEO/SEM.

suppose http://www.mydomain.com is a generic website name without any meaning (like mine, like http://www.wish71.net)

If you add a key word like spaghetti or whatever you like....

will be a sub domain like http://spaghetti.mydomain.com .......

the search engine will consider the website like it is a totally new website and it will match with the content with ''spaghetti'' in the url somehow considering the domain something with importance like www.spaghetti.com

probably........ (this was my question to the forum) the serch engine will increase the rank because there is a keyword in the website and if i need sell spaghetti can be useful!

BUT.......

It seams since 1999 or whenever that this technique was exploited and now is not working anymore because the search engine algorithm have limited that.

This is what I was thinking.

Only thing I can think of it being any use for is if you already have a business on your main domain, you could then have a blog, a forum or a directory on your subdomains.

This wont really help you rank in search engines or do better with your main site directly, but you would be making a larger internet presance for your company name and domain name in the long run prehaps making you more traffic.

But you dont need a sub domain to do this you could do the same thing as part on your main domain, so to be honest no there is no real use for them to help a site SEO wise.

Yes you can do that and No it won't make the teeny, tiniest difference.
