Dear Friends,

I had promoted our website, http://www.antiqueoakfurniture.co.uk/ where all the keywords are in Google 1-10 position, for all keywords its ranking is superb, but the problem is when visitors visit this site they don’t post any enquiry for purchasing products.

Where the other site http://www.tudor-rose-antiques.co.uk/ they have also well rank in Google, and here per day 3- 4 enquiries posted for purchasing products.

Both are antique websites, but as per SEO I can’t understand what the problem with antique oak where ranking is better than next one.

Please discuss with me my SEO friend and let me know what the solution is.
I eagerly wait for your positive response.

Duplicate content websites are filtered out have ONE site only and 301 redirect the other.

If you market anything like you ask questions (the simplest, cheapest, laziest way possible) then your answer's right there in front of you. Since I see a lot of keyword stuffing and semi-hidden links (for those who don't know what I mean, hover your mouse over the various portions of text in the first website...eventually, you'll see hyperlinks), then this tells me you have forgotten about who looks at a site in the first place (i.e. users). In fact, your inquiry is based solely on SEO, which you seem to think is the only reason that users come to a site and ask questions in the first place.

Search engines get your users in the front door. They don't get your users walking around your store and asking about products. The only thing that can do that is the site itself. And if you stack up the second site against the first on the sole basis of "which is the better site overall?" then the second one is clearly the better site (although both sites do have significant design issues). Of course, you've gone and ruined what could be a nice site by jamming keywords into the bottom of it...that's like putting a pig into a wedding picture.

So...the answer to your question has nothing whatsoever to do with SEO. It has to do with the sites themselves.

it's most probably is the layout (since SEO doesn't deal with placement of pic), the second one is far more convince-able. Clean, Tidy, Brighter.

In short, revamp your whole layout for the first website

From the look of your thread, it seems your having a conversion problem and not a SEO problem. Do you use Google Analytics to manage your website statistics and track sale converisons? If not you should look into it, it will help you gather a lot of data related to what your question is.

What you should be wondering is those sale conversions actually coming from the Google organic traffic or another source. I find that Yahoo! and MSN organic traffic has a MUCH higher conversion rate then Google, maybe you should key some SEO use to Yahoo! instead of Google, even more since your sites revenue isn't based off of ads but actual sales.
