I usually concentrate on getting backlinks with my takget keyword as anchor text. By this method my Google SERPs are higher. But what I've to do to get traffic from yahoo? My traffic from google is averaging around 50/day. But traffic from yahoo is 0! Any suggestions?

If you are doing good with google, I wouldn't worry about yahoo too much. First of all, google delivers a lot more traffic, and second, Yahoo will probably catch up soon enough, so just keep doing what you are doing, but make sure you are getting quality links.

From my own experience i've noticed that yahoo puts some importance on quantity of links as well and it is a bit slow to react to new backlinks as well, so the best option for you will be to keep getting links (preferably quality) and you'll get good ranks in the yahoo SERPs as well.

I agree with this one, give more priority to google than yahoo, If your SERP is decent in google then you're doing great, it takes a little time for other search engines to follow...

Anyway, Yahoo! puts more weight on on-page optimization therefore you will need to optimize your web pages to help your yahoo rankings. I would suggest optimizing your title, description, and keyword tags to include your target keywords. The keyword tag is not really needed, but doesn't hurt to add it. Also, optimize your page content to include your keywords and increase keyword density. Additionally, optimize your images with alternate text to include target keywords. Next, link from internal pages to your target page with your keywords as anchor text. Lastly, once you are fully optimized I would suggest generating a .txt sitemap and submitting it to Yahoo.

Yahoo gives much interests in taking its web directory as part of its Ranking Algorithm. If you will not submit to Yahoo Web Directory, you will wait for a long time before you appear in Yahoo SERPS.

Exactly! Google is the number 1 search engine. Ranking good in Google first is the right thing to worry about. Then when you get established your site in Google, here comes Yahoo and MSN.
