I have a site with two urls.

http://exampleusa.com is the main one and it is redirecting to http://example.us

Both are same sites, and i need both the urls to be worked.

so when i submit to the search engines and directories, if i submit http://exampleusa.com url, how does the crawler takes it. To which url it gives importance? Does any problem arises in optimisation? Will my site get good backlinks and ranks or not?

Preethi.

What are the two site's URLs? Or really more to the point, what kind of redirect do you use from one to the other?

Add a rule in your .htaccess file which will send a 301 redirect for each page request your secondary domain receives with the page url location of your primary domain and you'll be fine SEO wise.

Since you're using asp for coding your site, i am sure you're using windows platform and IIS as your webserver, i don't know much about IIS. .htaccess file is used in apache webserver as a file where user enter directives for webserver to follow when serving page requests. I don't know if IIS has an equivalent file or not, you'd have to ask someone else.
