I have seen PR update information on many forums, Is this true that Google has just started their back link and Page rank changes.

Yeah i have observed huge changes BLs got 100's of Bump in BLs

SERPs have no effect on PR I agree with this ....but still PR is kind of SE Promotion's indication ...Lotz of client feel comfertable with increased range of this green slot on their toolbar

PR is just for a people who trade links and want a link from high PR page. this is not good. I personally prefer to get a link from good, unique and related content indeed of PR2+ page. This could make you think, right? but every one has his own link building tactics.

I have read this all around. I have read the Google is changing the formula to calculate PR. I recommend you look at the age of the domain and its overall layout because i have heard this is now a major part in the equation. Also note the number of links ==> This is a big one. If its like a link farm dont expect anything from links there.

I am fairly sure that PR itself is simply calculated by the number of backlinks it has. Nothing more.

Toolbar PR is only one of about 100 (maybe more) things that Google uses to rank it's web sites. Therefore it has very little effect on actual rankings.

There may have been a mini PR update recently - I noticed that 1 or 2 of my sites changed slightly. However, it's nothing major and I'm not expecting a sudden jump or decline in my traffic
