By just commenting on Do follow blogs you can start to build backlinks to your site. When you comment on relevant DoFollow blog, your SERPs will increase.

Yes. Although DoFollow blog lists are well known. They're spam targets. Lots of bad outgoing links on many of them. Many are penalized for this, and the ones that aren't tend to have so many links on any given page (from navigation + comments) that the power yours will get is distilled.

The problem with this post is that the important part (post a relevant comment that adds something to the blog itself) is put at the end. The backlink angle doesn't even need to be considered, since many of the best inbound links will have no impact on search engines whatsoever.

Post if you have something to say that will contribute to the conversation. If not...shaddap yew mouf.

Its completely wrong info you have, most popular site is giving quick back link by fast crawling such as digg, clipclip.org, reditt, hubpages, propeller n also cool site Zestbit.com so its completely Do Follow.

No, he's right. Digg, Reddit, Stumble. Delicious all use nofollow. I've never heard of zestbit or hubpages. If you look at social bookmark sites by use, the only ones "worth spamming" are nofollow to protect themself against spam.

Social bookmark sites are good for getting traffic, but one shouldnt look at them for anything besides that.

Don't like to see my link in among tons of viagra, poker and pharmacy links, so NO THANKS to the dofollow blog comment suggestion.

It's not Digg or Delicous where you get the backlinks. It's the people who read your article and link to it from there blogs. That should clear that up. Social media optimization will in some cases really help your SEO effort. There's a pretty good article call the anatomy of super digg or something like that you should read it.

Also I'll tell you that not all commenting with links is spam. Some of it is. If you are commenting and backtracking articles you actually read then you are doing not spamming. If your comment is a link dump than that would be considered spam. Most spam gets deleted from blogs these days anyway so your links wouldn't stay live long if they are spam on most blogs.

The thing to consider is that most of permalink (the URL of the posts where your comment are displayed) are PR0. They will help your keyword popularity but you will also need some higher PR links if you want to get to top of Google.

Well, you have a good point, but I don't think there's exactly a formula. Part depends on how good your content is (and you've just given people another reason to make good content) and how many people see it, how good those two are matched, and how many of your audience blogs.

Non-spam comments on blogs are excellent way to get backlinks.

Article marketing is also a great way to build up your backlinks. Write an article about your topic and submit it to ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com.

Content is king. When I have good blog posts people will link to and backtrack them. When they are not so good people don't really want to link to them or even read them. It's nice to look at stats and see people putting links to your site that you didn't have to ask for, trade for, or buy.

Of course getting people to visit your site in the first place will take some marketing. You have to get yourself out there to begin with so link building with blogs, or directories, or reciprocal links or forums, social media, or other forms of marketing are nescessary until you get big enough that people will just find your site and start linking to it on their own.

You might call those the inverse spam blogs.

Their idea is, if there are lots of regular comments, then the blog "appears" to be popular. And they think that by being popular, they will attract more traffic.
