Not worth it, its quality over quantity PROVEN. A sudden surge of un natural directory links may boost you slighty but in the long run it will just look spammy to clever engines such as google.

you can get links through them, but the links wont be worthy as you thinking, So many of the sites have been opened like this to just make link exchange.
