I'm just wondering, how long does it take to get PageRank and how can we get a higher PageRank?

it's depend on Page so do quality links for that page and also content of page it's must relevant for them and title for better page rank.
I think it's not important links are one way or try way or reciprocal importance is quality of links

If you meant the PR on the Google Toolbar, the last time I heard, it is being updated quarterly. So if you are active with your links campaign, you will have an increase in your PR after 3 months.

I'm not sure though since it seems Google is updating the PR in the toolbar every month starting January 2008.

It takes approximately 58922.0792183920 seconds to get 1 PR on the bar. After this it goes up and down a lot every 8102.9581105 minutes.

You will get a PR once your site is indexed, but it may not be shown in your PR toolbar.

Didn't you hear about the leaked Google algorithem!??!?

There is now a set method for determining the maximum rate at which your PR can rise!!!

First, you take the number of words in the article (W) and multiply that by the number of 2 way links (L) and then multiply that by the number of one-way links squared (O^2). So our equation now looks like this:
W*L*O^2
If we had 1,000 words, 20 two way links, and 10 oneway links, our final number would be: 2,000,000 (That's the total number in seconds) So it would be 33,333 minutes to go from 0 to 1. This example would be about 24 days then. However, it then gets multiplied by another modifier for the higher levels!
0->1 = multiply by 1 (no change)
1->2 = multiply by 1.3
2->3 = 1.7
3->4 = 2.5
4->5 = 3
5->6+ = 4

As you can see it gets very hard at the end now!!!! OMGZER!!!! I hear they will give you a bonus for high keyword density at those higher levels though!!!!!!!

It basically depends on the quality of content you have on your website. Just write original and quality content on your site...then no one can stop your website from getting good page rank.

it depends on how you optimized your site, you may have pr if your site is indexed and google updates takes 3-4 months.for you to be able to have highier ranking continue link building.

I think That's the Right answer of your Qusetion. Just try to get good backlinks for your site. This is the only thing by which u cud get PR.

Keep building relevant inbound links and you should see your pagerank go up.

PR can be increased by Blogging, article marketing, choosing quality link partners, minimizing reciprocal linking and prioritizing One-way links.
