On my biggest sites, I get between 30-40% from Google. How about you?

Another thing about the search engine traffic and forums. I don't track this, so can't quote the exact figures but this is fairly obvious to me.

1. Though maybe 20% or so of total traffic is from search engines, maybe 50% of new members come in that way.

2. Same as above, but with the CPC revenue. I get substantially higher CTR on pages that get a lot of SE traffic.

Anyone else notice this type of thing?

Very true and I see the same thing.

Which is why I have different pages or ad layouts depending on if your a member or a search engine lead. Although I will say my members do click on the ads when they are relevant which is why I don't use Yahoo.

Yep half of my traffic comes from google.com
My soccer forum is indexed very good and after two months I am getting from 100-200 unique visitors a day. Too bad no one registers out of those hehe.

Overall on all my sites... I'd say no more than 20% of all my traffic comes from Google.

Rest of my traffic comes from word to mouth I guess since they are direct referrals.

I get about 5% or so coming from search engines. My sites cater to a specific audience and it's usually spread around by word of mouth.

Not much. To estimate, it's usually between 4% and 9%.

For sharedpcgames, about 30% of the traffic comes from search engine. For pyropixel.com it's much higher. With my other sites, i plan to make them a lot higher if possible. I've been learning new things about SEO so that shouldn't be too hard

It all depends on the site and how well it is optimize for which keywords. There is no question that Google is a very good source for highly relevant traffic.
