What are your opinions on it? Do you cloak?

cloaking? what do you mean by that? If you mean hiding or cloaking URLs on your website, then I do not do them. It is too complicated, and I don't see why.

No, search engine cloaking.

Yep, it's awesome too. But you have to use IP delivery and not cheap JS redirects.

I use cloaking for my Clickbank links for security reasons. But its not good for seo as Google hates cloaking.

Google hates cloaking. Its unethical. The notion is: If the content isn't appropriate or accurate for your visitors to see/view, why would you do anything sneaky to try to fool the spiders?

Yes, as much as possible. However, CapitalistPig is correct: avoid javascript redirects, try not to cloak on your primary site (use secondary and redirect traffic towards primary), get your own dedicated server w/ as many IP blocks allowed, and spend a little money on it.

When done properly, cloaking is an incredibly powerful strategy. Of course, cloaking must be accompanied by intelligent SEO, etc.

Good luck with it.

Joshua

P.S. I have never cloaked a forum. I also advise against it, as the social net will be confused--publicly--as to which domain/address belongs to the actual forum.
