Hey all

How about we all share our SEO achievements, I actually found a similar thread on another forum and thought I should open one here.

List your keywords, and the search engines you achieved rankings on.

Here are some of what I achieved for my own sites and for some of my clients:

1- Myspace Game
1st page on Google
2- Myspace Games
2nd page on Google, 1st page on Yahoo! and MSN.
3- Free linux hosting
1st page on Google, Yahoo! and MSN.

I had Terri Hatcher or was it Teri Hatcher at number one for ages, then along came Desperate Housewives and a ton of traffic.

I achieved #1 for search term coding resource on google for www.siteguts.com

got the #1 in google, yahoo and first page in MSN for 'atkinson dieet' (atkinson diet) although I didn't aim for that

and besides that a whole lot of other dutch #1 positions..

Mosquito Ringtone
Thomas MySpace Editor (#5 in Google too)

...and literally thousands of hotel keywords in different cities

MSN is the easiest engine amongst the big 3 to rank high in, MSN's technology is still behind, it reminds me of Yahoo! 3 or 4 years ago.

How is the difficulty of ranking high related to the level of technology of that particular SE? I do not see a connection (well - I see one. If you presume we are all SE spammers. But I don't like it.)

By technology I mean the algorithms eash search engine uses to rank a certain website for a particular keyword, and if you still don't see a connection between the algorithms and why high rankings are related, I suggest you get yourself a good SEO book and read it.

Example, with my newest site, i achieved first page on msn in only 1 week, but still not on google in first 5 pages. I can't wait to see that! :1eye:
