What's the big deal about ranking well in Google anyway?

Maybe my niches are unique

Maybe my tracking methodology is crap

Maybe I'm just a friggin fruit loop

*buuuutttt*

Yahoo and especially MSN search traffic is consistently converting 10x better than Google traffic on every single one of my sites, and it's easier to get. It's a lot more work to generate 10x the organic traffic from Google (without spamming) just to get the same $$$.

MSN is like the Paris Hilton of Search Engines. Why are so many webmasters ignoring it? Is there some extra value in G that I've overlooked?

If you get a good keyword on Google then your set for traffic Getting a keyword on MSN is nice but I don't find it reliable, they change their listings too often.

I don't the analogy. Usually when something is getting undeserved attention you would say that they are "the Paris Hilton of...". You seem to be saying the opposite is true of MSN.

Maybe you are the Paris Hilton of SEO, but what do I know, I'm new here.

I totally agree, msn is good to me because it's so easy. Just look at all the spam there.

MSN has around 12% of the search market (if memory surves me well) so you can see how much more traffic you would get if you get the same ranking on G.

For me, my income depends on getting referrals from my real estate clients.

Their real estate sales are tied directly to their google SERPs.

Better SERPs means more leads == more sales.

yes but if it's ten times easier to get listed it doesn't matter if it has seven times the traffic. Google Schmoogle, it's not the search engine, it's the amount of people you get to your site and if one search engine is easier to get listed on... well, do the math.
