One of mine e-friends bought it, and said it was nothing special. He said It was basic stuff, but the author wrote in a way that it really seems awesome.

I might be wrong though.

I guess that depends on your definition of "basic". There are certainly some basic concepts covered in the book. And there is a ton more that I am quite certain would take you either months or years of reading blogs and forums to learn. The longer you've been into internet marketing the more familiar with many of the concepts you're likely to be. For a beginner or someone without years of experience (or years to figure it out), the book is a must in my opinion. Even if I thought I knew it all (and I don't) I would still have bought the book.

If you are a gullible fool, go ahead and buy the book. I can bet you that the author makes far more money selling ebooks than with actual SEO or else he woudn't write book about it. He would be too busy ranking top 10 for high paying terms, and then he wouldn't be stupid enough to ruin his windfall by letting you guys in on it.

Want to know the basics to SEO?

1. Keword in the title tag

2. Inbound links of High PR with keyword anchor text

3. Get more inbound links

4. wait year

There you go. No magic involved.

is BlueHat SEO. Definetly worth a read, and will probably inspire some new project that is going to take up some of your valuable time.
