Anyone bought Seo Book?
I just want to know your opinions, is it useful? i'm not a newbie at SEO and want to know what are covered in this book.

I come from the 'old' media world and found SEO Book to be one of the best investments I've ever made, as a n00b in online marketing.

Aaron is a genius in the field and a brilliant marketer.

Worth every penny.

Most likely not.. Everyone that knows anything about marketing has probably got a vague idea of this already. It is just those vague ideas put into perception

Of course you can find it online, by surfing forums and reading articles.
By that logic, you could build a rocketship and to fly to Uranus.

Time is money, bubba, and buying/reading a book written by a very savvy marketer with tons of tips and advice saves time, and thus, frees up one's day to make money.

The issue isn't whether or not the information is available for free, it's whether or not you want to waste your valuable time finding it.

Its a great read. There is more to it than just plain SEO. Alot of it I found on forums before I read Wall's book but he puts some good information behind it that is worthing seeing.

Even if you can find the information by reading an inumerable number of sources, one thing you get right off the bat with Aaron's book is an authoritive opinion from a widely respected source (versus the opinion of joe nobody on a forum, who may indeed know the facts though how can you know?)... with the large amount of exposure for SEOBook, it's likely that mistakes or things that have changed with time will be caught and corrected by his readers. All that and Aaron constantly upgrades and refines the book to stay current. As soon as I saw the acceptance and support of the webmaster/seo community for Aaron's book, I didn't think twice before buying it.

One thing I've learned.... don't be cheap when it comes to your future. Be willing to spend what you need to reach your success. $70 is nothing in the scheme of things, and a crazy deal if it saves me hundreds of hours.

I forgot to mention...... even though a large amount of what I'm reading in SEOBook are things I already knew (due to almost 10 years of reading haha), I've still experienced quite a few "ah ha!" moments while reading, either in discovering a new idea I had never thought of before, or also solidifying many "feelings" or half-ideas I had in my head about the subject into actual knowledge.

If you are new to this, you might not even know what questions you're supposed to be asking - those come with experience.... and/or learning about them from a good source like this book haha.

The book's not just about SEO either.... Aaron talks about content management systems, AdSense, usability, e-commerce (and generally all kinds of useful topics that all eventually tie in by some means to the goals and results of SEO).

I have, best investment I made. Sure you can spend a few months hunting down the info for free, but save your time and buy the book.
