can spiders not crawl my site if the url is like this?

myhomepage.com/page.html/new/111/page/2

I've heard it is supposed to be something like this without the .html:

myhomepage.com/page/new/111/page/1

there are a few rewrite/redirects out there for you to use if you want, they help a bunch. I use open-sef for joomla and it takes my crazy url pages and allows single urls. its great.
You can also program with your .htaccess a rewrite for your urls that is a simple scheme.

If your URL is that long to begin with, I'd address that before worring about how frequently the spiders are visiting.

its not frequence he's interested in, but crawlability. assuming the page isn't 100% java/flash, the spiders should be ok.
they're more likely to crawl if it's closer to the homepage though, meaning a click or two away from the home.
as to php, my understanding is that it is a spider-legible language.

The spiders should be able to spider it depends on the structure of your internal links. Those links are acceptable and crawable.

Hi Mason,

Just did a quick read of your blog. Put a link back to your site on your blog. Spiders love blogs and will pick up your link faster this way.

Hi Mason,

One other thing that I read on your blog about submitting to directories. Check out directorysubmitter to do this for you.
Oh yes there is a .com at the end cause I can't post url's yet.
Just a newbe you know.
