I am just curious, given the type of people on this forum, whether anyone is actually involved with search engines?

If so, I would like a pm to possibly discuss a future venture :P

Many people are at least somehow involved because despite all ppc benefits having a good SERP is really great and gives targeted traffic.

What exactly do you have to offer to open our SEO chakras?

I was looking for someone who had more or less worked with search engines (involved in the daily operations of it etc).

The reason I posted in this forum was from a SEM point of view - the idea would benefit many websites that struggle to get discovered via existing serps while making existing search technologies radically rethink their strategies

* I just read the title now and was tired when I wrote it and see the confusion that could have arisen from the title - Search engine ops was not meant to be referring to search engine optimization*

No matter how radically search engines rethink their strategies, they will still need to be about reasonable things. It means there will always be a way to bring this reasonability to the sites.

I am witnessing search engines being the changy algo mood for years - and no problems. Go naturally, know what SEs love and hate, expand with more quality business partners, implement what shows the best - sureway to success.

You can try sending feedback to Google. Otherwise, good lck finding someone to build you a search engine. You may be interested to know Yahoo lets you build your own small engine, though. (Haven't tried it myself yet).
