In Google a few people are reporting to see their sites gained a good chunk of backlinks today.

Anyone else seeing it?

Strange one of my big sites did increase w/ more backlinks, but it's still broken I believe.

It doesn't make sense. I've added my forum to a lot of directories and I have been accepted to a lot of these directories and yet it says it only has six back links. It's weird.

Google will not show all the backlinks for some reason. Try searching for backlinks on yahoo and msn and see what comes up.

I just checked, and our backlinks are up - though I don't know if that is from today or since the last time I checked...

Some major SEO blogs have reported that a data refresh is going on, which explains the update in the links. I found this on digg, but I forget what SEO blog I saw it on first (search engine watch, matt cutts, search engine roundtable maybe... SEOMoz?)
