Hi all, I think I messed up something. I messed with the page titles and all the sudden my traffic from google stopped! I am still indexed but its just not pulling traffic! The site is only 5 weeks old and this happened about 3 weeks into it. Could it be the sandbox or my titles. Now each page has unique titles with relevent keywords in them. I am thinking of puting anchor tags at the bottom with keyword phrases also.

You might want to try re-submitting your site to google. I do this after I make changes or update.
Some say this is spamming, but hey it works.

Sounds like you just hit the sandbox to me, was the search terms competitive for the page?

I noticed a lot of spam pages getting dropped over the weekend. What exactly did you change?

I changed the page titles of all the pages. I am slowly getting traffic back, but when I first submited I got index and traffic came imediately, Now its poking in. Getting trafffic from ask.com, msn, and yahoo, but google is still being a pain.

Here are some facts about my site.
No incoming links except 3 from wikipedia and a few in digg
(i havent started on getting links from sites yet)
Lots of traffic from stumbleupon.com but its not good focused traffic. When I had my google traffic I had a conversion of about 7-10% now its down to about 3% because of this traffic.
I havent put any real anchor tags on the site yet, need to do that.
Mostly did h1, h2 keyword titles, bolded keywords in articles.
only getting about 100-300 uniques a day with about 300-1000 page views.

do your page titles match your H-tags?

hmm, good question, not all of them do, they are slightly off since some h1 tags are more than 9 words long and I wanted to keep the title down.
