Just found my montreal seo site is ranking #1 on MSN for Montreal SEO. Hurray! Next steps are Yahoo and Google of course.

Thanks for the congrats folks. Yup, MSN is easier than Google and Yahoo.

I'll keep you guys posted on progress. I expect to start posting to marketing, capitalist, and other business carnivals to get my ibl count up.

For now though, I'm going to look at cleaning up the design though, cuz Fortius gave me some good pointers and criticism about how it's too busy and such. No point ranking if I'm not going to get business from it, right?

Perhaps you could tell us how you have done your link building?

My guess would be that you rank well for your domain, though, so this isn't unusual.

Actually, a bit of my creativity in link building helped out here: I offered free seo services to a few reputable business blogs if they'd link to me/discuss my service. Got something from a PR 7 and a pr 6

. I need to do a few more though, hehe.

As a matter of fact though, the ranking is for cityseo.blogspot.com, which is where montrealseo.ca redirects to. I just bought MontrealSEO.ca in the expectation it would be helpful. I can't yet prove that it has been.

Could you explain why someone would enter montreal seo in a search engine? Just curious myself.
