The quality of backlinks matters also. A bunch of backlinks that come from users' personal page that has like PR1 or 0 won't matter.

Try to make a BIG portal
and Build Build Backlinksas many as you can and you may also get to PR10

I also never knew that Stat Counter would have that many backlinks. When can we see the updated version of this topic? I just want to be informed of the latest backlink results and statistics coming up.

yeah we get it Google is the best search engine and it has the most backlinks. Also where did you get this information? that is a lot of stuff to write down so you must have copied and pasted.
