I heard Yahoo! pulisher pays more? is this true? I read somewhere that they have ads targeting, too bad am not approved.

Yes, everyone I have spoken to who's used Yahoo's ads have mentioned that they get a higher amount of money per-click than adsense. One person even got $.40 per click with yahoo while at the same time getting $.02 with adsense.

How is the minimum cashout for Yahoo's publisher network. I've found AdSense to have much too high payouts, so I'm wondering how Yahoo handles this.

Well all rumours thats yahoo pays more is correct.
But i would say that YPN is too bad in case of Relevancy of ads.
Google shows 100% Relevant ads and where as yahoo dosent show.
Which is the reason we may see low CTR in YPN than adsense.

Well yes, but that can be good, especially for businesses. Who really wants to see ads advertising used cars when they own a used car dealership? Untargeted ads can be good too

I've been reading on another forum that a lot of people are having trouble with Yahoo actually paying them though.

Having them actually paying you seems to be a common problem with these publisher networks. Why can't a new service come out that does not have a minimum payout?

Hannah u say that if you want irrelevant ads you opt for Yahoo.
But its also Possible in Adsense by keeping th ads in different frame and keep the contexual option OFF.

Yeah, google isn't as bad, apparently. Yahoo, so many people complain that they actually do not send a cheque out at all, even after repeated phone calls. It's terrible, really.

I think because they don't read the little instruction at the footer where they tell you they are going to pay 2 months later after your payment reach 100 or more.

To sum this up.. yahoo pays more but they have crummy ads...Adsense has low pay but better ads. but i dont know as much about yahoo so idk

This is because of yahoo publisher still in "beta stage". Before google was just the same. They paid out more but now it drop, so in future Yahoo will do something similar.

wow this is great news! I can now forget about using ad-sense that I was planning on doing with Google and start a similar thing with Yahoo. Since they pay more it would be an obviouse choice, thanks for the information.
