I've pass hotbot numerous times before however people just don't use it. I heard that it was more of a meta search engine instead of the acutal search engine.

I have only seen hotbot in checking for site link popularity, although it is always 0.

so why did they just vanished like that. Seeing how the web and online have grown they should have implemented something like google or yahoo.

I used to use hotbot, then I found out about google. I don't believe it is a meta search engine, but I have usually found better results using google or yahoo.

Why ever use any other engine than google? It has the biggest db and the most sites
