I have kept hotmail simply for MSN messenger. I frequently use gmail however now. It holds so many more emails, and I have found it to be much easier and user friendly.

I see no need to change... hotmail is absolutly perfect fo rwhat i need it for so i will keep it ad infinitum, i tried mail once, but i didn't like it

You need to be invited. But, now google sends invitation code to you via mobile. So, it's easier and convenient.

I use Gmail.. i think its da best .. Hotmail is too slow in india.. while gmail is almost 10 times faster..
Akin if you need Gmail invitation let me know i have 100's of invitation left with me
