I was just wondering if someone links to an image on your site from another page, does Google count it as a vote for the site? Also, does it affect the Alexa ranking?

As far as i know it increases Alexa rank , as there is a new hit to your site
Nope google don't count it

Img hotlinking used to have alot more weight with G but now I wouldn't say its anything to smile about. I have some theories about image search but they are still theories.
